Call for Papers for a Special Issue of the Journal of Genetic Counseling: Public Health Genetics and Genomics
An upcoming issue of the Journal of Genetic Counseling will be devoted to public health genetics and genomics. We invite submissions in the form of original research manuscripts, professional issues papers, ethical analyses, historical analyses, case studies or case series that address issues related to public health.
Topics may include genetic testing for predispositions to common, complex diseases and traits; the public health genomics workforce; ethical and legal issues in biobanking; genetic privacy; the role of genomics in health behavior change; improving health literacy; or educating underserved communities about family health history.
We are requesting submission of manuscripts by December 20, 2013.
