Call for Abstracts: Society of Anesthesia and Sleep Medicine 2nd Annual Meeting

The Society of Anesthesia and Sleep Medicine (SASM) is pleased to announce that its 2nd annual meeting will be held in Washington DC on Oct. 11–12, 2012. Attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts from May 1st to July 1st, 2012 through the online submission web site. Abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be notified regarding abstract acceptance. Accepted abstracts will be presented at the meeting as posters.
What kind of abstracts can be submitted to our meeting?
Any work related to the following: the mechanism of anesthesia, sedation, arousal, memory, intra-operative awareness and post-operative recall, airway physiology, respiratory drive, and sleep disorders. The abstracts have to be new. If an abstract has been presented elsewhere and will be submitted to our meeting, it has to be within 6 months from the date of previous presentation to our next meeting day (Oct. 11, 2012). The author(s) will be advised to ensure not to violate the policy of other meetings.
