Call for Proposals for Topical Workshops and for Plenary Lecture Topics: 15th World Congress on Pain
October 6-11, 2014 Buenos Aires, Argentina
Submissions must be completed before 11:59 PM, Pacific Standard Time (US) on June 21, 2013.
The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) invites members to submit proposals for Topical Workshops and suggestions for Plenary Lecture topics for consideration for presentation at the 15th World Congress on Pain.
All proposals must be submitted online via the Call for Proposals system. Please review and follow the submission directions closely.
New! SIGs have the opportunity to propose topical workshops. The Scientific Program Committee will review the proposed workshops for scientific quality in the same manner that it does for other workshop proposals. Each SIG may have up to two (2) SIG-sponsored, one and one half hour workshops scheduled during the official dates of the Congress. The SIGs can propose more workshops than this, but if selected, only two will be identified as official SIG-sponsored workshops. If a SIG does not wish to submit a topical workshop proposal, then it may still submit a satellite symposium application.
The Congress is multidisciplinary and all proposed workshops should reflect this and address both basic science and clinical application.
All proposals must select a topic/subtopic from the list provided in this Call.
Do not use proprietary drug names when referring to pharmacological substances. Only generic names of drugs are acceptable.
English is the official language of the Congress.
