Call for Abstracts: American Podiatric Medical Association Annual Scientific Meeting
July 24–27, 2014 Honolulu, Hawaii
Abstracts from members, residents, students and other professionals are encouraged. Prepare your research abstract on a topic relevant to caring for the foot and ankle to be considered for oral or poster presentation at The National.
Research topics may include, but are not limited to, the following: Adult reconstructive ankle, adult reconstructive foot, arthroscopy, biomechanics and orthoses, coding and reimbursement, complementary and alternative medicine, dermatology, diabetic conditions of the foot, gait analysis and foot pressure, heel pain, onychomycosis and disorders of the toenails, physical therapy and rehabilitation, podiatric sports medicine, podopediatrics, practice management, and wound care.
■ All submissions must have at least one podiatric physician listed as an author.
■ All podiatric physicians and podiatric medical students listed as an author must be members of APMA in good standing.
■ If the podiatric physician listed as an author is not a member of APMA, refer to the membership information available on APMA’s website.
■ If the podiatric medical student listed as an author is not a member of APMA, the podiatric student must opt into membership. Login to APMA.org is required.
■ Once an abstract is accepted, additional authors cannot be added.
■ Abstracts should not be commercial in nature.
■ Encore abstracts will be considered.
■ All abstracts must be submitted online by January 31, 2014.
■ Faxed or mailed abstract submissions will not be accepted.
■ Abstracts may be submitted for consideration in one of three formats: Oral, Poster or both Oral/Poster. Abstracts for both oral/poster consideration will be considered for oral presentation first. If the abstract is not accepted for oral presentation, it will be considered for poster presentation.
