Call for Abstracts: Kidney Week 2013

The world's premier nephrology meeting, Kidney Week provides participants exciting and challenging opportunities to exchange knowledge, learn the latest scientific and medical advances, and listen to engaging and provocative discussions with leading experts in the field.

The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) will accept abstract submissions electronically from April 10, 2013 through June 11, 2013. ASN requires ASN User Logins and completed financial and other relationship DISCLOSURES FOR ALL AUTHORS. Please allow adequate time to gather this information.

New Abstract Categories

Pediatric Nephrology: Clinical, epidemiological, and management studies of pediatric diseases (403)

Geriatric Nephrology: Basic, clinical, and health services research relevant to the field of geriatric nephrology (1001)

Nutrition and Metabolism: Basic and patient-based studies addressing the metabolic and physiologic responses to nutrients and how they interface with kidney disease and its treatment (1401)

General Guidelines

Your abstract submission must meet the following criteria for ASN consideration:

Your data have not been and will not be presented at a U.S. or international meeting until publicly released by ASN.

Your data have not been and will not be published in any form until publicly released by ASN.

The lead author (i.e., individual submitting the abstract and presenting the abstract if accepted) has the authority to submit the abstract and transfer copyright on behalf of the co-authors and company sponsors.

All research and studies in submitted abstracts must comply with the WMA Declaration of Helsinki, the Declaration of Istanbul on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism, and the NIH Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.

Submission Information

All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the ASN abstract submission site by Tuesday, June 11, 2013, 11:59 p.m. ET for consideration.
