Scope
There has been considerable interest over the last years in the development and evaluation of new translational techniques for clinical image-based planning and interventions at the cutting edge of modern procedures in the hospital. This workshop aims to fill the gap between basic science and clinical applications by focusing on the clinical translations of state-of-the-art methods with a special emphasis on image-based planning and interventions.

Call for Papers: 3rd International Workshop on Machine Learning in Medical Imaging (MLMI 2012)
In conjunction with MICCAI 2012, October 1, 2012, Nice, France
Machine Learning in Medical Imaging (MLMI) 2012 is the third in a series of workshops on this topic, being held with MICCAI 2012 in Nice, France. This workshop focuses on major trends and challenges in this area, and it presents work aimed to identify
new cutting-edge techniques and their use in medical imaging. Our goal is to help advance the scientific research within the broad field of machine learning in medical imaging. The technical program will consist of previously unpublished, contributed papers, with substantial time allocated to discussion. We are looking for original, high-quality submissions on innovative research and development in the analysis of medical image data using machine learning techniques.
